My faith journey has not been a straight line.
For years I wrestled with questions about God, Scripture, and what it truly means to follow Christ. Along the way I worshiped alongside believers from many traditions, Catholic, Methodist, Presbyterian, non-denominational, and Baptist, and each one deepened my love for the whole body of Christ. I also sensed God calling me to teach His Word, and for a long time I felt completely unqualified and found every reason to avoid it.
When I finally surrendered, a reluctant step of obedience became a passion. Today I teach, preach, and create Christian content to encourage believers and point people to Christ. I am pursuing a Bachelor’s in Theology through Liberty University, with plans to earn a Master of Divinity, not simply to gain knowledge, but to be better equipped to faithfully teach God’s Word.
Outside the pulpit, I have served for more than eighteen years as a senior military leader, much of that time counseling others through the biggest decisions of their lives. I hold an MBA, am a certified leadership trainer, and have built and led organizations of my own. That mix of servant leadership, counseling, and lifelong learning is the same heart I bring here: meet people where they are, and walk with them toward what God has next.
I am a member of a Southern Baptist church, but my heart for ministry reaches Christians of every background. My goal is not to promote a denomination. It is to promote Jesus Christ, encourage believers in their walk with Him, and help people understand the Bible more deeply.
